Museums as a learning venue
The Bourbaki Panorama Lucerne takes its duty to awake an interest for cultural and historical heritage among the future generations. That is why the educational app «My Bourbaki Panorama» has been developed specifically for secondary school classes in collaboration with the Lucerne College of Education (PH Lucerne). Young people have the possibility to explore contents of the circular painting in an individual way. This project is considered as an innovative tool regarding museum cultural mediation and was thus rewarded with the Worlddidac Award 2016 and the Swisscom ICT Innovation Award.
The app is available in German, French and English and can thus be used within the framework of a foreign language class.

We offer the following options for schools and student classes:

(The tablets and the use of the app are put at the visitor’s disposal free of charge.) - School tour, 30 minutes
- Combination of school tour and app
- Special guided tours focussing on a specific aspect (on request)
